The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance for delivery teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on quantum-safe security considerations, including cryptographic risks, key management, transport security, and crypto-agility.
• Translate quantum-safe objectives into practical security requirements and guardrails for delivery teams.
• Review solution designs, technical approaches, and remediation patterns for alignment with security standards and controls.
• Support threat modeling and security-by-design activities to enable quantum-safe initiatives.
• Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains to communicate risks and recommendations.
• Define security success criteria for pilots and PoCs and support safe deployment.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and remediation actions with clear rationale and evidence.
• Build a community of practice around quantum-safe security within the organization.

As an Expert Quantum-Safe Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial industry committed to pioneering advancements in cybersecurity and cryptography. You will help shape the future of secure digital infrastructure by providing deep expertise on quantum-safe security strategies, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats and aligning security approaches with industry standards and governance. Your main responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on quantum-safe security considerations, including cryptographic risks, key management, transport security, and crypto-agility principles.
• Translate quantum-safe objectives into practical security requirements, guardrails, and guidance for delivery teams.
• Review solution designs, technical approaches, and remediation patterns for alignment with security standards and controls.
• Support threat modeling and security-by-design activities to enable quantum-safe initiatives.
• Assist workstreams across various phases such as discovery, prioritization, remediation, and migration readiness to ensure security integrity.
• Define security success criteria for controlled pilots and PoCs, supporting safe deployment.
• Identify and articulate security risks, control gaps, and remediation actions, providing clear rationale and evidence for risk acceptance.
• Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains to communicate risks, decisions, and recommendations effectively.
• Contribute to building a community of practice around quantum-safe security within the organization.

You are ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cryptography and secure engineering (e.g., TLS, PKI, key management, crypto standards).
• Experience working in regulated environments with strong governance and control requirements.
• Proven ability to influence technical delivery outcomes through pragmatic, risk-based guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with quantum-safe / PQC concepts and delivery implications.
• Experience supporting large-scale security transformation programs.
• Background in security architecture, technology risk, or formal assurance functions.
• Prior experience within financial institutions or highly regulated sectors.

Language required for the role: English (Fluent).
