GFT Technologies SE in Poland is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to design and develop high-performance services for financial sector applications. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, and deploy on Kubernetes in a cloud-native environment.

The role covers full software lifecycle from architecture to production support, with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and data processing across SQL/NoSQL stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to build high-performance, scalable, available apps.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and large-scale data processing.
• Kubernetes, GKE and cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong system design, reliability and maintainability knowledge.
• Experience in Agile teams within complex enterprise environments.

Salary range: 17,400 - 26,700 PLN gross/month

What will you do?

Join a team building and operating high-performance, highly available distributed systems for the financial sector. You will design and develop scalable backend services, work with modern cloud-native technologies, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment and production support.

Your tasks

• Design and develop high-performance Java Services

• Optimize application performance and reliability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
