Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Poland is seeking a qualified food science professional for a fixed-term role focused on substitutions and updates to EMEA premix formulations. You will work hands-on in a technical environment to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, Master Data and Production to drive end-to-end substitution projects, communicate changes to Account Managers, and support risk assessments.

Qualifications

• A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Chemistry, or related field with 4+ years in a technical role within the food, beverage, or supplements industry.
• Familiarity with premix formulations, raw material management, or related areas such as QC/QA, product development, or regulatory.
• A strong sense of accountability, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative spirit across teams, functions and countries, building relationships to enable smooth operations.
• Comfort with SAP and formulation systems; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
• Very good communication skills in English; an additional European language is a plus.

You bring

• A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Chemistry, or a related field, combined with 4+ years of hands‑on experience in a technical role within the food, beverage, or supplements industry.
• Familiarity with premix formulations, raw material management, or related areas such as QC/QA, product development, or regulatory — you understand the ingredients landscape.
• A strong sense of accountability — you take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and see things through with minimal supervision. Essential in a temporary role where ramp‑up speed matters.
• A collaborative spirit — you're at your best working across teams, functions, and countries, building relationships that make complex operations run smoothly.
• Comfort with SAP and formulation systems; experience with CRM tools is a plus. You're structured, detail-oriented, and documentation comes naturally to you.
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. An additional European language and the ability to hit the ground running round out your profile.
