PwC Polska’s Financial Crime Unit (FCU) is seeking an Experienced Team Leader to oversee a 10-15 AML Analysts team and act as deputy to the Operations Manager. The role focuses on workload management, policy compliance, and developing talent.

The successful candidate will coach analysts and team leads, drive performance, share best practices with peers, and contribute to key Operations Stream projects in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• More than four years of experience managing a team.
• At least 3 years of operational AML experience.
• Fluent in German and English for international communication.
• Knowledge of performance management tools and motivation techniques.
• Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of 10-15 AML Analysts - monitoring and managing workload and daily operations within the team, acting as Operations Manager’s deputy.
• Monitoring targets achievement and addressing potential breaches; ensuring all policies, procedures and guidelines are followed.
• Coaching and motivating Analysts and Team Leads; sharing knowledge with other Team Leaders.
• Monitoring performance and rewarding high performers; fostering a high performing culture in the Financial Crime Unit.
• Taking active role in implementing key projects in the Operations Stream.

PwC Poland’s Financial Crime Unit (FCU) team is composed of 1300 specialists who provide consulting services and operational support to global financial institutions in the area of Anti-Money Laundering, Risk, Regulatory, ESG, and other financial services. We are PwC's multi-competency center, bringing together top experts in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) – an area of financial services that focuses on preventing the introduction of illegal funds into a legitimate financial system. We are looking for:

Experienced Team Leader With German

Your future role:

• Leading a team of 10 - 15 AML Analysts - monitoring and managing the workload and daily operations within the team, acting as Operations Manager’s deputy,
• Monitoring targets achievement and acting on potential breaches, escalating operational issues affecting the supervised team. Ensuring all policies, procedures and guidelines are followed by team members,
• Taking active role in development, recruitment and retention of people - coaching and motivating - both Analysts and Team Leads,
• Sharing knowledge and best practice with other Team Leaders,
• Monitoring performance, seeking and rewarding high performers,
• Fostering high performing culture and values of Financial Crime Unit Team, taking active role in implementing key projects in Operations Stream.

Apply if you:

• Have more than four years of experience managing a team,
• Have at least 3 years of operational experience,
• Fluent in German and English, enabling effective communication in international environments,
• You have knowledge and experience using performance management tools and motivation techniques,
• Have excellent communication skills, including client communication,
• Have strong planning, time management and organizational skills.
