Global Payments in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Head of European Core Processing to lead two large-scale payment processing platforms, guiding architecture, security, and delivery with a multi-year migration program across Europe.

You will manage ~250 engineers in Warsaw and Prague, drive strategy with product and stakeholders, and align technology with business goals while embracing agile practices and modern engineering.

• 20+ years in technology change management, including business and commercial considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technology organisation of approximately 250 software professionals across Warsaw and Prague.
• Continuously adopt change to maintain a high performing team.
• Define the technology strategy for European core payment processing platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Partner with Product to build a stable and predictable roadmap and ensure quality and throughput.
• Own a multi-year migration programme to move traffic from legacy systems to go-forward platforms across Europe.
• Act as Senior Technology Partner for core payment processing in Europe with senior stakeholders.
