Job summary

Flix is seeking an Operational Accountant to lead group-level finance operations across Western Europe, collaborating with the Sofia accounting hub and local advisors to ensure consistent standards and reliable reporting.

You will manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, prepare IFRS mappings and local GAAP statements, liaise with auditors and external advisors on tax matters, and drive harmonization and automation of finance processes across Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting firms (audit, accounting, or advisory).
• Experience with IFRS; familiarity with local GAAP is a plus.
• Strong Excel proficiency and the ability to work with complex financial data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial operations for Western Europe in collaboration with the Sofia hub.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP; coordinate tax matters.
