Job summary

Nortal in Krakow, Poland, is seeking an EPLAN designer to join a high-impact service centre. You will contribute to automation projects for Besix Unitec, involving electrical design of movable bridges, locks, and tunnels.

The role requires hands-on experience with EPLAN P8, 2–3 years in cabinet design, and strong English skills. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electromechanics, Automation, or related field.
• 2–3 years of practical experience designing electrical cabinets and control panels.
• Experience with connecting and installing a PLC.
• Strong interest in automation.
• Practical experience with electrical schematics and control panel design is valued.

Responsibilities

• Draw flowcharts and electrical schemes for diverse projects.
• Work with the latest versions of Eplan P8.
• Build a nomenclature of equipment for montage/installation.
• Detect possible problems and report them on time.
• Make necessary adjustments until final approval.
• Grow into a full-fledged EPlan designer.

Nortal invites EPLAN designerfor long-term and full-time employment at our service center in Krakow, Poland.

You will join an extension team of our client –Besix,the leading player in the world of infrastructure and automation. As an Electrical Engineer, your role is pivotal in the automation facet of movable bridges, locks, and tunnels. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of multidisciplinary teams, actively contributing to various project phases.

Responsibilities

• You draw flowcharts and electrical schemes, depending on the contents of diverse projects.
• You will work with the latest versions of Eplan P8
• You will build a nomenclature of the necessary equipment for montage/installation.
• You will detect possible problems and report these on time.
• You make the necessary adjustments until you have final approval.
• You grow into the function of a full-fledged EPlan designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field.
• You have practical experience with CAE (EPlan P8).
• You have 2–3 years of practical experience in designing electrical cabinets/control panels.
• You have insight into connecting and installing a PLC.
• You have a strong interest in automation.
• Experience with Ebuild and/or Typical Manager is a plus
• A good knowledge of electrical products
• Practical experience with electrical schematics and control panel design is highly valued.
• You are an enthusiastic team player, but who also knows how to work in an independent manner.
• You can create order in information and make associations.
• You work in an organized manner and have an eye for detail.
• You have good English skills (both written and verbal).
