Job summary

Attio is seeking an Engineering Lead to guide a skilled team in building real-time infrastructure and scalable services. This hands-on role blends individual technical contribution with leadership of a small team of engineers, shaping product direction with customer input.

You’ll mentor engineers, design architecture, and collaborate across functions to deliver features that drive Attio’s growth while maintaining quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable backend systems.
• Excellent knowledge of modern cloud architectures (GCP or AWS).
• Demonstrable deep expertise with Node.js/Typescript or Go for backend development, or React for frontend development.
• Experience managing a team of engineers, and working with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to the wider team and influence decisions.
• A desire and aptitude for leading and growing a great engineering team.

About the role

This is a hands-on role which combines individual technical contribution with leadership of a small, focused team of engineers.
