Job summary

Balyasny Asset Management L.P. in Warsaw seeks an Engineer for Execution Technology to design and scale high‑performance trading platforms.

You will partner with senior engineers to build low‑latency algorithms and distributed components, perform rigorous code reviews, and collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams to bridge technology and business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building financial or trading systems in Java.
• Multithreaded and concurrent programming, including lock-free algorithms.
• Experience with distributed systems design and development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including planning, code generation, and testing.
