We are looking for a results-driven Engagement Manager to join our Business Development team. You will play a key role in driving client relationships, leading discovery and pre-sales activities, and ensuring successful transitions from opportunity to delivery.This position is ideal for someone who combines business acumen, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of software development and technology consulting services.
- 3+ years of total experience as anEngagement Manager, Account Manager, Client Partner, Project Manager, orBusiness Analyst in atechnology service company.
- 1+ year of proven experience specifically as anEngagement Manager.
- Strong experience in preparingclient proposals, tenders, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Excellentcommunication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).
- Deep understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC) andtech consulting/product engineering services.
- Familiarity withPipedrive or similarCRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.
- Prior experienceattending or exhibiting at international tech events.
- Background or domain expertise inFinTech orEdTech is a strong advantage.
- Technical background or education in IT/Engineering is a plus.
What you will do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target markets.
- Leaddiscovery meetings with potential clients to understand their business goals and challenges.
- Developcompelling proposals, presentations, and RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with delivery and technical teams.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships withkey decision-makers and stakeholders on the client side.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuringsolution feasibility and delivery alignment.
- Lead and manage theend-to-end sales cycle — from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to createcase studies, success stories, and customized service offers.
- Represent Geniusee atindustry conferences, exhibitions, and tech events to generate leads and strengthen partnerships.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast data inPipedrive or other CRM systems.
- Work closely with strategic partners and agencies to drive co-marketing and co-selling initiatives.
