Job summary

Bacardi is seeking an EMEA CIT Analyst to support tax filings across Poland, Switzerland and France. The role focuses on ensuring timely submissions, monitoring tax law changes, and collaborating with tax professionals across finance and service centers.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in tax filings and accounting, fluent English, and SAP experience, with a proactive, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English; additional language a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Business Admin.
  • 2–3 years in tax filings/returns preferred.
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience beyond tax.
  • Experience with VAT filings is a plus.
  • Polish/Swiss/French CIT filings experience desirable.
  • SAP experience is a must.
  • Shared Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate tax filings work and local processes for key markets (Poland, Switzerland, France).
  • Extract and review data from SAP for local filings.
  • Coordinate information flow with local finance teams and advisors.
  • File tax filings/returns timely with authorities.
  • Coordinate tax payments per thresholds.
  • Work with BES to ensure correctness of data for filings.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly reconciliations of tax accounts.
  • Assist with tax technology and electronic invoicing implementation.
  • Document and improve information flows for filings/returns.
  • Keep updated on changes in tax laws and internal policies.
  • Support tax audits and law changes implementations.

Job description

As a EMEA CIT Analyst, you will be working with CIT compliance processes from EMEA countries (with the special focus on Poland, Switzerland and France), ensuring the filings are submitted on time, tracking tax law changes, and implementing accordingly. This role will help you to increase the knowledge in tax by working with different markets at the same time, working with different tax professionals and tax advisors.Also, this position helps the person to develop different soft skills due to the high interaction across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance) as a resource to the international markets and service centre employees. The candidate will deal with confidential and sensitive data and must ensure conformity with policies, procedures, and regulations of Bacardi and external government agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Execution of the migration of the tax filings work and internal/local tax processes from another team member or local market with the special focus on Poland, Switzerland and France.
  • Extraction and review of data from SAP for the preparation of the local fillings.
  • Coordinate the information flow from and to the local finance teams and the local advisors as applicable.
  • Timely and accurate filing of the tax filings/returns with the Tax Authorities.
  • Coordination and approval of the tax payments derived from the tax filings – thresholds.
  • Coordination with Bacardi Enterprise Services (BES) of any information required for the filings and ensuring that the information received from BES is correct for the purpose of the filings and returns. Work with BES in case information needs to be corrected or processes re-designed as necessary.
  • Prepare the reconciliations of the tax accounts on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Assistance with respect to tax technology and implementation of electronic invoicing
  • Documentation, implementation and improvement of processes and flows of information for the purpose of generating the tax filings/returns.
  • Keep updated with regards to changes in the law or internally that impact the filings/returns.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of tax law changes and internal or external audits.

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

  • Must be fluent in English (another language is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree Accounting or Business Administration
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience in tax filings/returns: 2-3 years at least.
  • Previous accounting experience beyond tax: 2-3 years at least.
  • Polish/Swiss/French CIT tax filings experience: preferable
  • Experience with VAT filings is a plus
  • Experience with tax technology is plus
  • Previous experience with SAP is a must.
  • Previous experience in Shared Services environment- preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel) and MS SharePoint
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
