Job summary

Unikie is seeking an Embedded C/C++ / Functional Safety Engineer to develop and integrate lower-level vehicle software for ECUs and ASIL-certified systems. You will help expose vehicle capabilities via network interfaces and strengthen communication between TCM, network layers and chassis systems.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with embedded C and/or C++.
• Professional experience developing software for automotive embedded systems or ECUs.
• Experience with functional safety and ASIL-certified systems.
• Background developing or testing safety-critical software.
• Understanding of automotive communication networks and ECU integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ software for automotive ECUs.
• Enable network-side access to existing vehicle functionality.
• Modify and integrate communication between TCM/network layers and chassis systems.
• Contribute to the development and integration of safety-critical vehicle-control features.
• Support functional-safety documentation, verification, validation, and testing.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and safety engineers to ensure compliance with applicable ASIL requirements.
