Job summary

Arjo is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our cross-functional team in Komorniki/Poznań. You will own electronics and electrical design throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with software, mechanics, and product management to deliver safe, reliable healthcare solutions.

You will contribute to schematics, PCB design, testing, verification, and documentation while ensuring production continuity. English proficiency is essential; travel internationally is required.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with electronics design for motor control, sensors, displays, and wired/wireless comms.
• Knowledge of PCB design methodologies and lab practices.
• Familiarity with medical device development and ISO/IEC standards is a plus.
• Fluent English, self-motivated with high energy and drive.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and select components for electronics.
• Create, update, and release PCB CAD drawings.
• Build proofs-of-concept and reference designs.
• Coordinate EMC and electrical safety testing with partners.
• Plan, execute, and document designs per standards; support production continuity.

Position: Electronics Engineer

As Electronics Enginee you will be part of an electronics design team with end-to-end responsibility for electronics and electrical design for our health care products. You will work in a cross-functional project group together with software and mechanics development, as well as product management, interaction design, and system verification. You will be active in all stages of the product life cycle from pre-study through design, testing, product launch and product maintenance.

As a Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Schematics design and component selection
• PCB CAD drawing creation, update, and release
• Proof-of-concept and reference design builds
• Test and certification with internal and external partners for EMC and electrical safety
• Planning, execution and documentation of designs and tests according to standardized process
• Production continuity support
• Product risk analysis for electronics and software systems
• Analysis of change requests, trouble reports and claims
• Investigate root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions
• Identify and develop product improvements
• Component life cycle management
• Create and improve development and test tools/equipment

Skills and experience you will need for this position:

• A Bachelor’s degree within Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with electrical and electronics design, for instance motor control, sensors, displays, weighing devices, and/or wired and wireless communications
• Good knowledge of electronics design methodologies and PCB design for different applications
• Good knowledge of electronics and electrical systems design including interfaces, cabling, and communication buses
• Good knowledge of lab work and prototype builds.
• Experience with EMC testing and certification
• Experience with product manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with electronics CAD systems, preferably Altium, is a strong merit
• Experience from medical device development according to ISO 13485 or other regulated business is a merit
• Experience with medical electrical safety standard IEC 60601-1 is a merit
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 SW development life cycle is a merit
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• You are self-motivated with “can-do” attitude and high levels of energy an motivation
• You appreciate system complexity and co-design of electronics, mechanics, and software
• This position requires international travel
