Job summary

Polaroid in Poland seeks a Sustaining Electrical/Electronics Engineer to support released products in mass production. You will focus on improvements to electronics, ECR/ECN execution, cost-down initiatives, and quality issue resolution with a view to manufacturing robustness.

You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, and suppliers to keep production stable and drive continuous product enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering or product support.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, PCB assemblies, embedded systems, power circuits, sensors, interfaces and electronic test methods.
• Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly processes, test processes, yield improvement and production troubleshooting.
• Hands on experience using PLM systems.
• Experience with ECR/ECN processes, validation, engineering documentation control and working with suppliers or manufacturing partners.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, 8D or similar structured problem-solving methods.

Job Summary

The Sustaining Electrical / Electronics Engineer supports and improves released Polaroid products in mass production. The role focuses on electrical and electronic product improvements, ECR/ECN execution, cost-down initiatives, quality issue resolution and production productivity improvements through better product design and manufacturability.

The engineer works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, Process Engineering, suppliers and manufacturing partners to keep production stable and continuously improve released products.
