Job summary

Ramboll invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Control & Protection design team in Kraków. You will handle HV substations up to 420 kV, develop specifications, and drive design delivery for diverse clients across Europe.

As part of our Power Systems Department, you will lead technical discussions, deliver consulting services, and contribute to our sustainable energy transition while collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge on Control & Protection of HV Substations.
• Expert knowledge on Auxiliary Power Supply for HV Substations.
• Experience in stakeholder management and networking.
• Ability to take responsibility and make decisions with clients.
• Strong interest in the green energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for Control & Protection of AIS and GIS Substations up to 420 kV
• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for the Auxiliary Power Supply for HV Substations up to 420 kV
• Preparation of necessary calculations, diagrams and drawings
• Preparation of necessary Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities
• Preparation of the Building Design and Detailed Design
• Driving technical reviews and agreements with Clients and Suppliers
• Deliver consulting services and advice to our Clients and Customers

Electrical Engineer - Control & Protection Design

Your new role

As our new Control & Protection Designer, you will be able to test yourself on a huge variety oftasks for many different clients while you will be the driver of developing our Control & Protection services to even higher technical levels.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for Control & Protection of AIS and GIS Substations up to 420 kV
• Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation for the Auxiliary Power Supply for HV Substations up to 420 kV

Your new Team

You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team of power system engineers delivering solutions for DSOs, TSOs and developers of renewable energy. We are growing significantly atthe moment, and you will therefore be able to have direct influence on defining our strategy. We aim to be the preferred supplier of power system engineering consultancy services for TSOs, DSOs and renewable energy developers.
