Ecommerce Operations & Supply Manager | Based in EAST EUROPE

About Living In a Bubble

We're a fast-growing global ecommerce brand in the campervan and outdoor space, selling across Australia, the USA, Canada, and Germany. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are preparing for a major systems upgrade: the implementation of a unified Inventory Management System (IMS) to support multi-region operations at scale.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager, not an operator. This role leads the global supply chain & operations function while overseeing the rollout of a new IMS that will become the backbone of our entire business.

You will:

  • Lead system design (not execute repetitive tasks)
  • Oversee the Supply and Operations team
  • Standardize global workflows across AU & US
  • Build operational clarity, accuracy, and scalability

This is a perfect fit for someone who thrives in system-building, process improvements, and leading multi-region operations.

Key Responsibilities
IMS Implementation (Primary Focus)
  • Evaluate IMS platforms and recommend the best solution
  • Lead implementation from discovery → configuration → rollout
  • Integrate IMS with ecommerce, marketplaces, accounting, forecasting, and warehouse systems
  • Build standardized, scalable workflows across all regions
Supply Chain & Inventory Leadership
  • Oversee forecasting, replenishment, and supplier management (team executes)
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels across AU & US
  • Build predictable inbound/outbound processes
  • Improve stock accuracy, reduce stockouts, and strengthen visibility
Operational Excellence
  • Eliminate inefficiencies and reduce manual work
  • Standardize SOPs and operational frameworks
  • Build reporting dashboards with real‑time performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement across supply chain & operations
Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Ops & Supply team
  • Oversee the future Automation Engineer supporting system integrations
  • Ensure strong cross‑functional alignment (Finance, Marketing, Product)
Requirements
Must‑Have Qualifications
  • Proven experience in international supply chain management
  • Hands‑on experience with IMS / ERP / OMS systems
  • Experience leading a full system implementation or migration
  • Strong understanding of multi‑warehouse ecommerce operations
  • Ability to design and document operational workflows
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Comfortable coordinating across operations, supply, finance, and 3PL teams
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Experience with advanced IMS tools such as Cin7, DEAR, Brightpearl, Unleashed, Odoo, etc.
  • Background in process improvement (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, n8n)
  • Experience in AU/US ecommerce markets
Benefits
  • Fully remote role
  • High‑impact leadership position with direct influence on company direction
  • Opportunity to lead the implementation of a mission‑critical IMS
  • Clear growth path to Head of Operations
  • Collaborative, supportive remote team culture
  • Regular performance reviews and growth opportunities
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Annual leave + sick leave + seasonal performance bonus
  • Join a fast‑growing global brand in a booming outdoor category
  • Work with a passionate international team and help shape the future of vanlife gear
