Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining Spinnaker and Redis or other equivalent technologies.
  • Strong background in service management, including release management, security patching, and observability.
  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation and configuration management (e.g., scripting, IaC tools).
  • Experience with public cloud environments (preferably AWS).
  • Proficiency in solution architecture design and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Spinnaker.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
  • Strong technical writing and English communication skills.

Project Scope

The project focuses on managing the full lifecycle and user support of internal IT‑managed services – primarily Spinnaker (tier 0, powering all release pipelines) and Redis, which serves as its backend storage. Key objectives include improving automation, maintaining a strong security posture, and developing a migration plan toward a more scalable technology stack with an appropriate solution architecture. The role operates at the intersection of system administration and solution architecture, enabling developer productivity and platform reliability.
