Ferrum Management Services AG is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Poland to construct rotary and sheet metal assemblies for centrifuges. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering, strong knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably Solid Works), and experience in special machine design.
This role involves creating technical documentation, providing support across departments, and ensuring compliance with standards. The company offers a flexible working model, including home office options and a dynamic team environment.

Constructing rotary and sheet metal assemblies for centrifuges
Proactively applying a Value Engineering mindset to optimize material use, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency in all designs.
Realisation of the designs in line with costs, deadlines and quality requirements within the project execution.
Creating technical documentation: assembly documents, production drawings and parts lists
Technical support for sales, customer service, project management, production and assembly departments
Maintain close cooperation with our office in Switzerland
Supporting other departments regarding mechanical and design issues
Ensuring compliance to applicable standards and regulations
Degree in mechanical Engineering
Job experience in special machine and/or plant construction
Very good knowledge of 3D CAD (ideally Solid Works)
Knowledge of welding technology, hydraulics and ATEX would be advantageous
Good knowledge and experience in creating drawings in accordance with standards
Experience in the use of ERP systems (ideally SAP)
Fluent in English (ideally B2 or higher)
Structured and methodical approach as well as a reliable and independent way of working
Cross-process and cross-team thinking with a practice-oriented mentality
Pronounced communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of initiative and commitment
A strong understanding of the business process and how mechanical design impacts production throughput, time-to-market, and overall project profitability.
Conceptual mindset with the ability to take abstract problem statements and develop robust, innovative solutions.
Open to new technologies and methods, actively exploring and proposing improvements in design tools, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
Willingness to embrace change and adapt quickly to evolving project requirements, standards, and priorities.
Willingness to travel ~10%
