Job summary

The Config Team, UK-based and remotely capable, is seeking a Delivery Architect (SAP WM) to own end-to-end solution design across multiple client projects. You will guide blueprints, configurations, testing and deployment, driving best practices and risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders at all levels, and evaluate new SAP capabilities to shape product direction while delivering measurable customer value.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SAP WM experience in consulting or delivery environments.
• Experience delivering SAP WM solutions across multiple implementations or transformations.
• SAP ECC6 and/or S/4HANA experience.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse and logistics business processes.
• Strong SAP solution architecture and design capability.
• Experience leading cross-functional SAP delivery teams.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2 delivery frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced SAP WM Consultant or Solution Architect looking to take ownership of solution design while working with innovative SAP software products?

At The Config Team, we're looking for a Delivery Architect (SAP WM) to lead delivery of our software solutions including the design for enhancements across multiple customer projects. You'll play a key role in helping organisations optimise warehouse operations through the implementation of TCT's, SAP software products.

Unlike large-scale transformation programmes that can run for years, our software projects are typically 3-4 months delivered remotely. This offers a great mix of variety, flexibility and work-life balance, while allowing you to apply your SAP WM expertise and lead successful customer implementations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end solution design for TCT software implementations within SAP WM environments

• Work across multiple concurrent customer projects, ensuring solutions align to business requirements and TCT best practice

• Guide delivery teams through blueprint, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare

• Ensure solution alignment across functional, technical, integration, data and change workstreams

• Act as the design authority for customer solutions, identifying and mitigating risks throughout delivery

• Translate customer warehouse and logistics requirements into scalable, supportable SAP solutions

• If required support pre-sales activities including customer workshops, solution assessments, RFP responses and Statements of Work

• Contribute to product development by evaluating new SAP capabilities and industry trends

• Provide leadership, mentoring and governance across project teams

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Strong hands-on SAP WM experience gained within consulting or client-facing delivery environments

• Experience delivering SAP WM solutions across multiple implementation or transformation projects

• SAP ECC6 and/or S/4HANA experience

• Excellent understanding of warehouse and logistics business processes

• Strong SAP solution architecture and design capability

• Experience leading cross-functional SAP delivery teams

• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Experience working within SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2 delivery frameworks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud experience

• Experience working with SAP-integrated software products

• Pre-sales and commercial consulting experience

• Proven experience in mentoring
