Job summary

Hiberus is seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Maintenance Developer to maintain, optimise and develop data processing workflows in a banking environment. You will work hands-on with Oracle 19c, SQL/PL-SQL, and ETL tooling, including Ab Initio, to ensure data quality and system stability.

You will monitor production data loads, diagnose issues, and implement changes to the data model and loading processes. The role is hybrid and based in Wrocław.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining data warehouse systems or data repositories.
• Practical domain knowledge of data structures and business processes in the banking sector – mandatory requirement.
• Very good knowledge of Oracle 19c and advanced SQL query writing and optimisation, including PL/SQL scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Ab Initio – mandatory requirement.
• Experience in production monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnosing ETL performance issues.
• Willingness to work rotating 8-hour shifts, either morning or afternoon.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with existing code.
• Availability to work from the Wrocław office at an agreed frequency.

Responsibilities

• Database administration and optimisation – working with Oracle 19c, tuning SQL queries, optimise PL/SQL procedures and improving table structures for performance.
• Production monitoring – monitoring daily data warehouse loads, analysing logs and responding to errors.
• Incident management – diagnosing, debugging and resolving issues in production and test environments.
• Change implementation – implementing new business requirements within the existing data model and ensuring data consistency and quality.
