Nexocode is seeking a skilled ML/Data Scientist to advance language understanding and CV techniques on large, unstructured datasets. You will collaborate with fellow engineers to deploy models and analyze complex patterns across distributed systems.

The role requires a master’s degree in a STEM field, 3+ years in ML/data science, and fluency in English. Flexible work setup with on-site presence in Kraków or remote options may apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM or quantitative field.
• 3+ years experience in ML/data mining or statistical modeling.
• Strong Python and PyData stack skills.
• Background in high-dimensional models, regression, clustering, recommender systems, time-series, or CV.
• Experience with large datasets on distributed clusters.
• Ability to prototype quickly and iterate to production-ready solutions.
• Scientific mindset and ability to break research into tasks.
• Team player with clear communication; familiar with Agile/Lean.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement Novel language understanding and CV techniques.
• Analyze multi-dimensional unstructured data to find patterns.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into the system.
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders and customers.
• Share knowledge on challenges and solutions encountered.
• Utilize data analysis and visualization tools (pandas, seaborn, Plotly).
• Leverage Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and data warehouses.
• Work with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
