Job summary

Allegro.eu S.A. in Warsaw is seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to impact a top eCommerce platform. You will lead projects from concept to productization, using predictive and recommender models, while handling terabytes of data on Google Cloud.

You’ll implement offline and online models and collaborate with analytics and data engineering teams. You should have 2+ years of SQL data analysis experience and Python ML development, with strong communication skills to translate business challenges

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis using SQL and building machine learning solutions in Python.
• A passion for translating business challenges into AI/ML problems.
• Excellent communication skills, from formulating analytical problems to clear and intuitive presentation of results.
• Proficiency in Python and efficient use of basic development tools.
• A strong understanding of statistical and machine learning methods.
• A degree strongly related to statistical/mathematical modeling (Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful projects: co-create solutions solving complex business problems in Marketing, Smart, Advertising areas, utilizing predictive, segmentation and recommendation models.
• Master diverse techniques: work with models including GenAI, boosting models, neural networks, causal inference, optimization methods and deep learning.

What you'll do:

We are looking for people with:
