Qualifications

• Wymagania: praktyczne doświadczenie w Quality Engineering, szczególnie w Data Engineering, Big Data lub data platform.
• Dobra znajomość zasad QA, test automation i nowoczesnych praktyk QA.
• Dobra znajomość SQL i walidacja zestawów danych, transformacji i ETL/ELT.
• Doświadczenie z Pythonem oraz PySpark/Databricks.
• Doświadczenie w tworzeniu i utrzymaniu testów automatycznych.
• Znajomość CI/CD i integracji testów w pipeline'ach.
• Zrozumienie chmur danych i jakości danych w nowoczesnym inżynieringu.
• Dobre zdolności analityczne i rozwiązywania problemów.
• Dobre umiejętności komunikacyjne w zespole cross-funkcjonalnym.
• Proaktywność i nastawienie na ciągłe udoskonalanie jakości danych.

Responsibilities

• Projektowanie, rozwijanie i utrzymanie zautomatyzowanych i manualnych testów zapewniających dokładność danych.
• Wkład w standardy QA across data platforms, pipelines i products.
• Analiza przyczyn źródłowych i wspieranie rozwiązań zapobiegawczych.
• Współpraca z Data Engineers i Product Owners w celu określenia wymagań jakości.
• Wspieranie jakości w cyklu życia oprogramowania, testów shift-left i CI/CD.
• Testowanie integracji danych, procesów ETL/ELT i transformacji danych.
• Rozwój i utrzymanie testów automatycznych oraz integracja z pipeline'ami CI/CD.

Job description

Nasze wymagania:

• Practical experience in Quality Engineering, ideally within Data Engineering, Big Data or data platform environments.
• Good understanding of Quality Engineering principles, test automation and modern quality assurance practices.
• Good SQL skills, with experience validating datasets, data transformations and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Python and exposure to technologies such as PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests and contributing to test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and experience integrating automated testing into delivery pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud-based data platforms, data quality principles and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate quality issues and identify root causes.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with experience working within cross-functional engineering and product teams.
• A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with a strong focus on delivering reliable and high-quality data solutions.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

O projekcie:

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Data Engineering team and help ensure the reliability, integrity and performance of our data platforms and products. Working closely with Data Engineers, Data Designers, Data Quality Analysts, Product Owners and other stakeholders, you will contribute to test automation, data validation and Quality Engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You will help identify and resolve quality issues, improve test coverage and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes, tools and ways of working.

Zakres obowiązków:

• Design, develop and maintain automated and manual test solutions to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability.
• Contribute to Quality Engineering standards and best practices across data platforms, pipelines and products.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis and support the implementation of effective solutions and preventative actions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Designers, Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand quality requirements, identify risks and define appropriate testing approaches.
• Support quality throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to shift-left testing, automation and continuous testing practices.
• Test data integration, ETL/ELT processes and data transformations, ensuring data quality and integrity across the data ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, improving test coverage and supporting integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Explore, evaluate and implement practical uses of AI in Quality Engineering, identifying opportunities to improve test automation, data validation, defect detection and overall testing efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and exploring tools and practices that improve testing quality and efficiency.
