Job summary

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o in Kraków seeks a Data Protection Counsel – Information Security to advise on global privacy and security compliance for our product teams. You will help embed privacy-by-design in products and services, with a focus on EU regulations and security frameworks.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, a technology background, 7+ years as in-house or private practice attorney, and security certifications.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Undergraduate degree in a technology discipline.
• Admitted to a bar association in the relevant member state.
• 7+ years of experience as an attorney advising global product/engineering teams.
• Experience linking privacy and security in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as data protection SME for cybersecurity, legal, services and global product teams.
• Advise on data protection contract terms and conditions.
• Research and apply EU security regulations (NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act, CEPRA).
• Advise on security frameworks and controls; participate in incident response activities.
• Provide training and reports to senior management on privacy and security compliance.
