Job summary

Capgemini is looking for a Data Modeler to join a strategic transformation program in Financial Services. You will design enterprise-grade data models supporting analytics, risk management, and regulatory reporting within a hybrid-capable environment.

You will translate regulatory requirements into scalable data structures, define entities and mappings, and collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts while upholding data governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Modelling within Financial Services or Investment Banking.
• Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Experience with dimensional modelling (Star/Snowflake).
• Exposure to Data Vault modelling.
• Understanding of data lineage, metadata, and data quality.
• Experience with Databricks / Lakehouse architecture.

Join a strategic data transformation program within the Financial Services and Investment Banking sector. As a Data Modeler, you will design enterprise-grade data models that support analytics, risk management, regulatory reporting, and modern cloud-based data platforms.

Your Tasks

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable data structures
• Define data entities, relationships, hierarchies, and source-to-target mappings
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Analysts
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to data modelling standards and best practices

Your Profile

• Strong experience in Data Modelling within Financial Services or Investment Banking
• Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
• Experience with dimensional modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas)
• Exposure to Data Vault modelling
• Understanding of data lineage, metadata, and data quality principles
• Databricks / Lakehouse Architecture

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Mesh concepts
• Exposure to risk, credit, or regulatory reporting domains
• Experience with Azure-based analytics platforms
