Job summary

Sii Poland in Kraków is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to design and implement robust data architectures that support business needs across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with business and application teams to align data flows with organizational goals and tackle complex data challenges.

Responsibilities include developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, defining standards, and performing hands-on modeling, design, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience with relational, dimensional and NoSQL data platforms.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, data architecture and related tools such as Erwin or Visual Paradigm.
• Practical experience with data lakes and data warehouses in multi-data-center environments.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Implement new data strategies and designs across data platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with business and application teams to build data flows and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Define and govern data modeling standards, tools and best practices for enterprise data models.
• Identify data sources, architectures and interfaces to support automated loads and analytics.
• Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation and performance tuning of data solutions.
• Work independently to address requirements and mitigate delivery risks.

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to join our team in Cracow. You will implement innovative data strategies and designs across various data platforms, contributing to the development of robust data architectures that support business needs. Your strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with business and application teams, ensuring that data flows and models are aligned with organizational goals. Your tasks

• Implementing business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms and tools
• Collaborating with business and application teams to build data flows and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Defining and governing data modeling and design standards, tools, and best practices for enterprise data models
• Identifying architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources and tools supporting automated data loads and analytics
• Conducting hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, and performance tuning for data solutions
• Working proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate challenges to mitigate delivery risks

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data platforms
• Deep expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and related tools such as Erwin or Visual Paradigm
• Practical experience with data lakes and data warehouses in multi-data-center environments
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and ETL processes
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Openess to working from the office up to six times per month

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts
