The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable data solutions using Python and SQL. Remote work and a B2B cooperation model are offered.

Data Engineer (Kafka / Confluent Cloud)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Kafka and Confluent Cloud to join our team and contribute to the development of modern data streaming solutions.

In this role, you will work with cloud‑based data platforms, real‑time data processing and event‑driven technologies, helping build reliable and scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with Confluent Cloud — certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Good programming skills in Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of data engineering principles and real‑time data processing.

Nice to have

• Experience with event‑driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) tools and technologies.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
