Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to drive large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake and to support reliable Apache Airflow workflows. You will work within the data engineering function to migrate approximately 1,000 datasets to Snowflake and adapt existing pipelines to the new platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Advanced SQL with complex joins, CTEs, window functions and performance tuning.
• Snowflake data modeling experience.
• Airflow pipelines development and testing.
• Kafka and Spark experience (PySpark).
• Experience with Iceberg and Parquet formats.
• AWS experience with S3 data lakes, partitioning and lifecycle policies.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and testing/debugging.
• Overlap until 12 PM Pacific Time.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake.
• Support reliable Airflow workflows and scheduling.
• Migrate ~1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
• Adapt pipelines to Snowflake architecture.
• Ensure data quality and reliability during migrations.
• Collaborate with data platform team on modernization.
• Contribute to milestones by end of March 2027.
