Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer with Python and PySpark to join a high-impact project for a leading global financial infrastructure and data provider. The role is hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week) and based in Gdańsk or Gdynia, Poland.

You will assess current applications, plan transformations, and collaborate with architects and the development team to define target architectures, backlogs, and data models.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and PySpark in large-scale data processing environments.
• Experience with Azure services including Fabric and DevOps.
• Experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Delta DB and OneLake.

Responsibilities

• Assess current application and decide transformation strategy.
• Determine application complexity and effort.
• Work with architects to determine target architecture.
• Plan backlog of activities for the development team.
• Transition applications from planning to transformation.
• Support Customer UAT activities.
