Job summary

emagine Polska is seeking a data analytics engineer to develop and enhance a marketing analytics platform by integrating diverse data sources into a unified reporting framework for leadership insights.

You will build Power BI deep-dive views, migrate reference data to a central MDM, design a data quality framework, automate data delivery, and migrate to a raw data model as vendor data evolves.

Qualifications

• Expert in Azure Databricks with Unity Catalog.
• Proficient in PySpark and Python for transformations.
• Strong Delta Lake knowledge.
• Advanced SQL for complex queries.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Practical experience with Unity Catalog sharing and configurations.

Summary

The primary goal of this role is to develop and enhance a marketing analytics platform by integrating various data sources into a unified reporting framework, ultimately providing valuable insights for business leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical deep-dive views in Power BI across multiple data pillars.
• Migrate master reference tables into a central Master Data Management (MDM) system.
• Design and implement a comprehensive data quality framework throughout the data pipeline.
• Automate data delivery processes for manually loaded data sources.
• Migrate data sources to a full raw data model as new vendor data structures become available.

Must Haves

• Expertise in Azure Databricks (including jobs, clusters, Unity Catalog).
• Proficient in PySpark / Python for writing transformation logic and unit testing.
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake functionalities.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and aggregations.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Practical experience with Unity Catalog sharing and configurations.

Nice to Haves

• Background in consumer panel or tracking data.
• Experience with DAX in Power BI for complex analytics.
• Knowledge of Consumer Health or FMCG analytics.
• Familiarity with working with external data vendors and managing SLAs.
