Job summary

Tylko in Warsaw is hiring a Data Engineer to build data infrastructure, manage large data volumes, and support a data-driven culture. You will translate business needs into well-structured data models and collaborate with stakeholders daily to deliver clear data solutions.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, using SQL, Python, Airflow, and cloud platforms (GCP) to optimise data pipelines and enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and optimising complex SQL queries.
• Experience in data modelling for analytics.
• Proficient Python coding for ETL and Airflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
• Fluent Polish and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimise data models to support business needs.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, streaming platforms, and files.
• Monitor data pipelines for performance, reliability and cost.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions.
