Job summary

Capgemini Polska is looking for a Data Engineer to join a team building a global marketing data platform for a leading FMCG company. You will help design scalable data solutions and data pipelines to enable advanced analytics and data-driven marketing decisions.

Requirements include 4+ years of data engineering experience with Python, Spark, Databricks, SQL and PySpark; strong English (B2/C1); and a collaborative, international mindset. Hybrid work in Warsaw is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience using PySpark to process and transform large-scale datasets
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1 level)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions in cloud environments.
• Build, optimize, and support ETL pipelines, as well as data integration and transformation processes to ensure high-quality, reliable data for analytics and reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, support end users, and deliver new functionalities using technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and Python.
