Job summary

TechTree's client is hiring a Data Center Technician for a long-term infrastructure programme in Warsaw, Poland. The role requires hands-on experience with rack & stack, cabling, hardware troubleshooting, asset management and physical data center operations.

You will install and decommission data center equipment, manage cabling, patching, and lifecycle records while coordinating with third-party contractors on-site. A Category B driving licence and English at B2+ are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of overall IT experience.
• 2+ years in physical data center operations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• English at B2+ level.
• Willingness to obtain CONFIDENTIEL UE security clearance.

TechTree's client is hiring a Data Center Technician for a long-term infrastructure programme supporting a major EU agency in Warsaw.

This is a hands-on role for someone experienced in rack & stack, structured cabling, hardware troubleshooting, asset management, and physical data center operations.

• Location: Warsaw, Poland
• Work model: On-site
• Employment: Contract
• Contract duration: Initial 12 months, extendable up to 48 months
• Estimated compensation: €100,000–€120,000 annually

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of server, network, PDU, and data center infrastructure
• Basic LAN, switching, and patching knowledge
• Hardware troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with asset management, inventory, and change-management processes
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Category B driving licence
• English at B2+ level
• Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in typical data center environments
• Ability to work on-site in Warsaw
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain CONFIDENTIEL UE / EU CONFIDENTIAL security clearance
