Job summary

DPDGroup IT Solutions Sp. z o is seeking a QA Tester to join a cross-functional team in Poland. You will define and execute manual tests using MicroStrategy data insights and craft Gherkin scenarios for automated regression, working daily with Git and Jira.

Collaboration with developers is essential to translate requirements into effective test coverage and to shape the testing strategy for each bug. Hybrid work model in Poland, with two office days per week, offers a balance of collaboration

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with Gherkin scenarios.
• At least intermediate SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehouses and BI components.
• Experience in integration tests.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read logs.
• Good English communication (B2).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute manual tests with data analysis in MicroStrategy.
• Define and execute Gherkin scenarios for automated regression.
• Work daily with Git and Jira.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze requirements and plan testing strategy.
• Set regression scope independently for each development cycle.

Job description

• Definition and execution of manual tests with a deep background-analysis of the reported data in Microstrategy
• Definition and execution of Gherkin scenarios for automated regression purpose
• Daily work with a Git repository and Jira
• Cooperation with the developers’ team in order to prepare the analysis before the tests (taking part in the code presentation, analysis of requirements to cover, finding out the testing strategy for each bug)
• Independence by establishing the regression scope of each development

Requirements

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Familiarity with Gherkin scenarios
• At least intermediate level in SQL and relational database concepts
• Basic understanding of data warehouses & BI components
• Experience in integration tests
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and read logs
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level at minimum)

It would be nice if you have the following skills:

• Experience in working in logistics/courier business
• Experience in working in an international organization with multiple stakeholders
• At least 2 years of experience with Teradata and Microstrategy
