What do we do?
SMBF Production Management

The SMBF Production Management organization provides business‑critical application management and support to our SMBF (Services, Markets, Banking and Functions) clients through our global and diverse team of over 5,000 people positioned across 66 cities in 37 countries supporting ~3,000 applications.

The Production Management organization is embarking on a multiyear evolution which will change how it delivers its services. This large‑scale change programme has many different streams of work of which one is Optimization and Enablement. Optimization and Enablement will redefine not just what but how work is performed and drive a sustainable model for increased effectiveness and maturity across these services. At the heart of this transformation is data. This role will report into the Service Maturity Data and Analytics Lead and will be responsible for driving measurable change across this domain. The role will be “hands on” and the successful candidate will be very technically astute across a broad set of technologies.

  • Passionate Data & Analytics Advocate: You possess a very good understanding of data and analytics and are excited about leveraging its power to drive organizational change.

  • Develop and Visualize Insights: You have multiyear experience in creating compelling data visualizations and reports using tools like Tableau to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

  • Strategic Thinker & Problem Solver: You are able to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

  • Technical Acumen: You have a strong command of data analysis tools and techniques, including experience with data visualization tools, programming languages, data analysis and statistical methodologies.

  • Effective Communicator: You can clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. You are adept at building relationships and fostering collaboration.

  • Results‑Oriented: You are driven to deliver impactful results and have a proven track record of success in data and analytics initiatives.

Your role in our team would encompass the following and more:
  • Delivery of Enhanced Data & Analytics Maturity: Lead the charge in evolving our data and analytics capabilities within Production Management. You will champion the delivery and adoption of next‑generation analytics, moving beyond descriptive and diagnostic analysis towards predictive and prescriptive insights.

  • Enable Data‑Driven Decision Making: Collaborate across teams to define, measure and communicate the impact of data and analytics initiatives. Your work will empower data‑driven decision making and drive tangible and measurable improvements.

  • Deliver Innovation: Embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Explore and implement cutting‑edge technologies and methodologies to enhance our data and analytics processes yielding measurable ROI.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Project management experience and production support experience. Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Strong practical data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as Tableau.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite. Practical experience using AI/Emerging Technologies.

  • Strong proficiency in Python, APIs and DB connectivity (SQL), ETL. Familiarity with GitHub.

  • Proven experience using JIRA / AGILE / SCRUM to deliver solutions. Data flame/Snowflake expertise.

  • Proven IT Service Management (ITSM) knowledge and experience. Statistical/BUSINESS analysis experience.

  • Proven ability handling and manipulating very large datasets.
