Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on Cyber Security experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, operations, or IT security roles.
• Strong technical expertise with deployment, management, and troubleshooting of DLP, Endpoint Protection, Cloud Security, API Security, and Networking technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of industry frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Take a hands-on role implementing, configuring, and automating a wide range of security technologies across Sysco, including DLP, Web Proxy & Secure Web Gateway, Endpoint Protection & EDR, Cloud Security Tools, and Network Segmentation.
• Ensure all security tools are patched, monitored, and maintained for optimal performance and compliance.
• Serve as SME for assigned security tools, providing guidance and support across the organization.
• Respond to and resolve tickets, troubleshoot tool-related incidents, and resolve integration issues promptly to minimize impact.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, architecture, compliance, and IT teams to align tools with business needs.
• Participate in POCs for new security technologies and contribute to design and development of integrations and automation.
• Maintain detailed tool configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides; build playbooks and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify configuration gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen security posture.
• Collaborate with SOC to identify threats and determine effective protection strategies.
• Drive automation to enhance security and compliance; support audit and governance requirements.
