Job summary

Amentum is seeking Junior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Position will be based in the Washington, D.C area. This position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities include delivering timely, actionable threat intelligence on hostile actors targeting the U.S. energy sector and supporting CI services. Must have 2–4 years in related fields and Security+ or ability to obtain within six months, with active TS/SCI or DOE Q

Purpose and Impact

Amentum is seeking Junior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Position will be based in the Washington, D.C area. This position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.

Work Schedule

5 days, 8 hrs

Essential Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

2–4 years supporting cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or threat analysis. Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or Elastic. Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and RMF. Security+ required (or ability to obtain within six months).

Security Clearance Required
