Job description

We are seeking a Customer Quality Assurance Manager – Ambient OEM to lead product specifications, artwork approvals, and customer compliance across our European OEM ambient portfolio. This role plays a key part in upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on European markets

As the primary technical contact for our OEM customers, you will support product development, customer audits, and continuous product enhancements. Positioned at the crossroads of R&D , Quality, Food Law, Sales, and Supply Chain, this role offers the opportunity to shape product excellence and strengthen customer satisfaction in a dynamic and competitive environment.

This position can be based in Utrecht (Netherlands), Gdynia (Poland), or Hamburg (Germany) and reports to the European Project Management Director & Food Law Regulation Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Quality & Specification Leadership
  • Approve product specifications and artwork in line with European regulations
  • Apply customer compliance policies across specs, artwork, and plant SOPs
  • Deliver accurate technical documentation (certifications, specifications)
Regulatory & External Quality Compliance
  • Support customer audits and provide required technical files
  • Update product data and manage customer-requested changes
  • Assist with complaints and root-cause analysis
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Managers, R&D, Plants, Quality, Food Law and Sales teams
  • Report customer queries and support product improvements to reduce defects
Customer Partnership
  • Act as the technical contact for OEM customers
  • Provide technical inputs for tenders, and customer requests

About You:
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar QA role within the food industry (seafood experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of EU regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with artwork approval, product specifications, and quality standards such as IFS, BRC, HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, effective problem solving and strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. German and work proficiency in Polish.
