Job summary

Sora Union Group is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join globally distributed teams. You will act as a technical partner for customers, translating operational needs into production-grade AI experiences and owning end-to-end projects from data cleaning and prototyping to full deployment, monitoring, and debugging in customer environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production AI/ML experience.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Weights & Biases for experiment tracking and model registry.
• Strong expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Proven ability to build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs (FastAPI or Flask) and SQL/NoSQL databases for data integration.
• Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Customer-facing consulting or engineering experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into production-grade AI experiences.
• Own projects from data cleaning to full deployment and monitoring.
• Implement model compression, quantization, and efficient serving for latency and throughput goals.
• Develop prompt chaining and context management for LLM applications.
