Job description

At IPF Digital, we're evolving into a skills-based organization - where your strengths, analytical mindset, and potential to grow matter more than fitting a traditional checklist. If you're passionate about data, credit risk, and driving smarter decisions across a fast-moving fintech business, we'd love to hear your story.

About Team

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you'll be at the centre of how data shapes decisions. Working across Credit Risk, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Collections, you'll connect insights, align data requests, and translate analysis into impactful recommendations. You'll help ensure our markets - and our partners - are moving in the right direction by understanding both the business and the numbers that drive it.

This role is based in Warsaw, with responsibility for initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets, involving reporting, analytical expertise, and continuous performance improvement.

Here's how you'll put your skills into action:
Analytical Insight & Business Impact
  • Skilled at turning raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Able to detect patterns, trends, and emerging risks - and confidently translate them into clear recommendations.
Risk Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Capable of building, maintaining, and delivering effective reporting that supports stakeholders across markets.
  • Open to feedback and challenges, using them to improve the accuracy, clarity, and impact of reports.
Forecasting, Modelling & Stress Testing
  • Able to support the development of modelling methodologies, including forecasting credit exposure and assessing risk resilience.
  • Comfortable evaluating assumptions and ensuring analytical approaches align with business goals.
Process & Policy Improvement
  • Adept at monitoring existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing enhancements to reduce unexpected credit risk losses.
  • Confident in tightening, relaxing, or challenging credit controls to ensure they support strategy and customer growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Strong communicator who can work as a link between Credit Risk and business functions - translating analytical findings into practical actions.
  • Skilled at aligning data requests across departments and coordinating with external partners when needed.
Experimentation & Innovation
  • Curious and creative thinker who enjoys testing, learning, and iterating to improve risk strategies.
  • Energised by experimenting with new approaches, refining policies, and supporting innovation across the credit lifecycle.
Skills that will help you thrive:
Core Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis, numerical reasoning, and problem-solving.
  • Solid SQL skills and confidence working with data warehouses.
  • Ability to connect analytical outcomes with business realities.
Risk & Credit Knowledge
  • Understanding of consumer credit, credit processes, and risk frameworks.
  • Practical experience in credit risk analysis and measurement.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Effective communicator who can present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Polish and good English (spoken and written).
Ways of Working
  • Organised, task-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to balance detail-oriented analysis with big-picture thinking.
  • Brings energy, curiosity, and - very importantly - a sense of humour 🙂
Experience and Education
  • Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a finance-related field.
  • At least one year of experience in credit risk.
  • Experience analysing consumer credit or working with credit policies, processes, or strategies.
Our hiring approach

As part of our skills-first recruitment process, you may be asked to complete a practical work challenge. This gives you a chance to showcase your skills, your way of thinking, and your problem-solving approach - beyond what's on a CV.

In the next steps, we'll focus on getting to know you better through conversations around culture fit and soft skills, to ensure we're a great match for each other.

What can we offer you?
  • Real opportunities for growth - enjoy access to a variety of internal learning and external development initiatives.
  • A fully free mental health platform with access to certified professionals: psychologists (including child psychologists), dietitians, business coaches, and physiotherapists.
  • Relaxed team integrations – kayaking, cycling, workshops, team outings – we enjoy spending time together, and we make it happen regularly.
  • Move your body, clear your mind – you can use a Multisport card or use private health care coverage.
  • A truly international environment – we collaborate with teams from Mexico to Australia. Sounds exciting? That's just our everyday reality.
From office life
  • Company parking where you can book a parking place.
  • Weekly team lunches – enjoy vouchers to nearby restaurants (yes, sushi included!).
  • Brand new office in a prime location – Gda'ski Business Center in Warsaw, just 5 minutes from Dworzec Gda'ski metro station. Inside: 3 types of coffee, ping pong, and a chillout room. Tempted?
  • Flexibility is not a buzzword – hybrid work model (2 days a week at the office) and flexible hours are our standard, not a perk.
Here's how our team describes our culture

The culture at IPF Digital is driven by our shared values. People are put first, we accept differences, and encourage individuality. Due to our flat business structure, we enjoy collaborating together. Enjoying some good times together is also highly encouraged!
