Job Description

Credit Analysts monitor customer accounts to spot potential issues early and reduce credit risk or loss for Elavon. They prepare credit assessment based on analyzing data, gathering information and interpret financial situation on existing customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of existing customers and portfolios
  • Conduct credit reviews using behavioral data, processing patterns, industry research, and financial statements
  • Identify early risk indicators and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions
  • Prepare and document clear credit assessments in line with policies and standards
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and systems supporting credit decisions
  • Partner with internal teams to support effective risk management and customer outcomes
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in credit analysis, risk, AML, or related financial services roles
  • Understanding of credit risk principles and portfolio management
  • Experience working with databases, internal systems, or case management tools
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross‑functionally
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years similar experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial, behavioural, and transactional data
  • Attention to detail and ability to document credit decisions clearly and accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple reviews in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
