Job summary

Arup is hiring a Cost Manager in Poland to lead cost management across the full project lifecycle. You will prepare feasibility studies, manage procurement and post-contract cost activities, and provide strategic commercial guidance to maximise value for clients.

The role requires strong Polish and English communication and a solid background in cost control and forecasting. The position offers opportunities to work with multidisciplinary teams in Warsaw and Krakow, with exposure to

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering or related discipline/equivalent
• 4+ years of cost management experience across project lifecycles
• Experience on cost management commissions and as Cost Manager on small to medium projects is a plus
• Understanding of procurement methods and value engineering across project stages
• Proficient with standard cost management processes and digital tools
• Fluent Polish with good English skills

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of cost management services across the project lifecycle
• Provide strategic commercial advice to maximise value
• Prepare feasibility studies, estimates, and cost plans with clear recommendations
• Manage procurement, tendering documentation, bid analysis, and contract documentation
• Oversee post-contract cost management: valuations, cost checks, forecast, monthly reporting
• Support value engineering and financial close-out; negotiate final accounts
• Advise clients and collaborate with consultants to inform decisions
