Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in international corporate tax compliance within a global firm.
  • Familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ability to prepare and submit complex tax returns.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing and Country by Country Reporting.
  • Contributing to tax process improvements.
  • Confident in English at C1/C2 level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Degree-level qualification in Accounting or Taxes.

Job description

For Linklaters Global Solutions Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Corporate Tax Advisor role.

Work arrangements:

Hybrid model work: 2 days per week from the office located next to Rondo ONZ

Contract: Employment contract with 3‑month probation period

Working hours: The core working hours are between 9‑17.15

About the Team

You will join Linklaters Global Solutions (LGS) as part of the Finance function. As Corporate Tax Advisor you will ensure accuracy and compliance with international direct tax obligations for the firm and its partners. This includes preparing tax filings, computations, supporting documentation and arranging payments. Your responsibilities cover the preparation and submission of international corporate tax returns, supporting non‑UK tax return processes, and analysing tax disclosures for consolidated group financial statements. You will report to Tax Manager based in UK.

As Corporate Tax Advisor, you will:

  • Prepare and submit UK and European corporate tax returns and supporting computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Arrange payments of corporation tax across diverse jurisdictions and structures.
  • Support colleagues and external advisors with the completion of non‑UK corporation tax returns.
  • Analyse corporate tax provisions for disclosure of tax charges and balances in the consolidated group financial statements.
  • Prepare tax disclosure notes for inclusion in the financial statements of UK entities and handle queries from the firm’s auditors.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating transfer pricing documentation and policies, and prepare the annual Country by Country Report.
  • Support the Tax Manager in meeting Linklaters’ global compliance obligations arising from OECD Pillar 2 rules, including collating data for detailed calculations and liaising with external advisors and global finance managers.
  • Arrange and analyse payments from partner tax reserves as needed, working closely with tax and finance colleagues to ensure accounting requirements are met and accounts are reconciled.
  • Collect information from partners and calculate profit sharing and foreign tax details needed for personal tax returns in various jurisdictions, sharing this information with third‑party advisors and other Finance colleagues.
  • Support the Tax Managers in researching and calculating direct tax advice for the business and partners.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance tax processes, systems and technology, continually improving efficiency and accuracy.
Apply if you:
  • Have a 2‑4 years’ experience in international corporate tax compliance gained within a global professional services firm.
  • Are familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Demonstrate the ability to prepare and submit complex tax returns and calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant domestic and international regulations.
  • Are keen to develop specialist knowledge of transfer pricing, including adapting to new and evolving legislation, and are familiar with Country by Country Reporting and direct tax advisory support through research and analysis.
  • Can contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and systems, maintaining operational efficiency and accuracy within a high‑compliance environment.
  • Are confident using English at C1/C2 level to engage clearly and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hold a degree‑level qualification in Accounting or Taxes.
