YOUR ROLE

The role will involve leading independently commercial and contract management support to internal clients including: analysis, reviews, drafting, and redlining contract documents and commercial proposals; proactive management of the bid / RFP process; leading or contributing to contract and/or commercial negotiations with Clients of Capgemini. This role may also involve short-term business travels to countries within Europe. This is an individual contributor role (no subordinates), but requires good project, task and time management skills.

YOUR TASKS
  • full ownership, responsibility and accountability for commercial and contract support provided to internal clients including analysis, insights, contract queries resolution, disputes;
  • leading governance calls and ad hoc meetings;
  • contribute to the development of appropriate commercial solutions, aiming to increase revenue and margin or reduce costs, while considering commercial, operational, legal, financial risks, and proposing ways to manage them;
  • drafting / reviewing / redlining contract documents including Agreements /Statements of Work / Work Orders related mainly to Business Services;
  • leading or contributing to contract and/or commercial negotiations with Capgemini Clients;
  • actively participate in the creation of the offer and negotiation strategy, including tracking the status as the negotiation progresses;
  • provision of advice and guidance on contractual and commercial topics to Delivery and Sales teams;
  • being responsible for ensuring that risks and best commercial practices are considered throughout the contract cycle;
  • working closely with stakeholders from legal, financial, commercial, and operational services.
YOUR PROFILE
  • 10+ experience in Commercial and Contract Management (preferably with managed services) or similar area;
  • experience in drafting / reviewing IT contractual documents ;
  • minimum a Bachelor Degree in IT, Economics / Law / Finance / Administration or related field;
  • fluent knowledge of English (verbal and written) at C1 level;
  • other languages will be an advantage (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch at minimum B2 level);
  • very good interpersonal skills: capable of interacting with internal and external Client on VP level;
  • acumen in commercial and legal aspects of contract;
  • leadership skills; ability to influence peer group
  • excellent attention to detail;
  • ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
