Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions seeks a Contentful-focused Technical Lead to guide enterprise platform delivery, workshops, and architecture in a hybrid Poland team. You will balance technical leadership with hands-on engineering, shaping decisions across CMS, frontend, and backend layers.

You will work with Contentful, React/TypeScript, and AWS-based services, engaging with client stakeholders and driving discovery to actionable backlogs. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Contentful and headless CMS architectures.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience in production-grade applications.
• Good practical knowledge of AWS, particularly cloud-based services and integration layers.
• Strong understanding of API design, middleware and system integration patterns.
• Experience designing solutions where a headless CMS is part of a larger enterprise architecture.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions about CMS/frontend/middleware/backend boundaries.
• Experience integrating CMS platforms with APIs and enterprise systems.
• Proven experience leading technical discovery, requirements analysis and solution design.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to stakeholders.
• Experience providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, facilitating client-facing workshops and translating business requirements into technical decisions.
• Shape the implementation approach across Contentful, React, AWS services and enterprise systems.
• Define boundaries between CMS, frontend, integration/middleware and backend services.
• Decide where integrations should be implemented and define API/integration patterns.
• Review and evolve Contentful content models, composition rules, and reusable patterns.
• Shape the AWS-based integration and service layer connecting Contentful and frontend with APIs and identity services.
• Turn discovery outcomes into technical scope, architecture and backlog.
• Lead engineers, provide hands-on guidance, code reviews and approach complex decisions.
• Ensure engineering practices around security, performance, testing, CI/CD and observability.
