Qualifications

Who we are looking for

The Conduct Risk Management Office at State Street is seeking an Officer who will support the oversight, administration, and advisory services at all levels on Conduct matters related to State Street’s personal trading policies. Responsibilities include consultation with employees and business representatives, training and communications on personal trading policies. The position also includes providing occasional support in the review of escalated issues to advise of proper risk mitigation or determine if there has been a serious breach of Conduct policies. This position is perfect for an experienced Compliance individual with a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Conduct Risk roles who is looking to develop their career within the Compliance function on a global scale and gain exposure to a broad range of business operations.

Requirements include strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities. The ability to speak and or understand German and Italian would be preferred.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model in Krakow office, where you can balance work from home (2 days) and office (3 days) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
  • Maintenance of employee‑facing resources related to personal trading policies
  • Conduct quality assurance of transaction alerts
  • Managing escalated policy questions
  • Develop a strong understanding of State Street’s instance of Star Compliance, State Street’s Standard of Conduct, State Street Global Advisors Code of Ethics, Global Personal Investment Policy, and other Conduct related policies and requirements
  • Ensure accurate processing of employee transactions (such as review of personal trading transaction alerts, review of employee requests, administration of the systems etc.) in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Assist State Street employees, including management, with questions related to Conduct Risk Management matters
  • Support production of management reporting, including but not limited to data collection, qualitative and / or quantitative analysis, formatting, and quality assurance
  • Proactively interact with and coordinate with global Conduct Risk team members in global locations for policy administration
  • Perform ad‑hoc projects and requests
  • Cultivate effective relationships with internal business partners in multiple regions and business lines to successfully achieve organizational goals
