Job summary

AmRest is seeking an experienced Compliance professional in Wroclaw to lead and co-develop our annual compliance program. You will investigate whistleblower reports, monitor risk areas, and support action plans with thorough reports.

You will help implement conflict of interest assessments and maintain our monitoring system, while shaping policies and regulatory documents for the function. You will stay current with practices, contribute to projects, and lead awareness initiatives to foster a

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Co-developing and implementing our annual compliance program and action plan.
  • Conducting investigations into cases reported through our whistleblower system and preparing reports.
  • Monitoring potential compliance risks and providing reports to support action plans.
  • Assisting with annual conflict of interest assessments and monitoring system management.
  • Providing guidance to the organization to ensure understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Developing and refining policies, procedures, and regulatory documents for the Compliance Function.
  • Staying up-to-date with compliance practices and updating our Corporate Criminal Liability model.
  • Participating in various Compliance projects and supporting team goals.
  • Developing and implementing compliance awareness initiatives and campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Co-developing and implementing our annual compliance program and action plan, enabling us to effectively achieve our compliance goals,
  • Actively conducting investigations into cases reported through our whistleblower reporting system, ensuring thoroughness and preparing comprehensive reports to support effective decision-making and corrective actions,
  • Proactively monitoring and reviewing areas of potential compliance risks, providing insightful reports and actively assisting in the execution of action plans to mitigate risks and maintain compliance,
  • Assisting with the annual conflict of interest assessment and playing a key role in implementing and managing our monitoring system, ensuring transparency and adherence to ethical standards,
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, providing valuable insights and guidance to the organization to ensure a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements,
  • Developing and refining policies, procedures, and other regulatory documents necessary for our Compliance Function, ensuring clarity and compliance with industry standards,
  • Staying up-to-date with compliance practices, reviewing and updating our Corporate Criminal Liability model, and actively seeking out best practices to enhance our compliance framework,
  • Actively participating in various Compliance projects, supporting our team in achieving departmental goals and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • Developing and implementing compliance awareness initiatives and communication campaigns, promoting a strong culture of integrity across the organization and enhancing employee engagement with compliance topics.
Requirements for Candidate
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field,
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Law, Compliance),
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail,
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems enabling effective data analysis, monitoring, and support for compliance processes
  • Proficient English language skills,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills,
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively,
  • Professional certifications in compliance will be an asset,
  • Experience in Big Four companies will be an asset.
