Job description
JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Westwing’s presence and reputation on the Polish market, while also supporting our PR activities in the CEE region, including Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia. You will report directly to the Expert Lead CEE and work closely with our international PR team to deliver high‑impact communication initiatives that resonate with our audiences. This position is a maternity cover contract for 18 months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and performance and based in Warsaw.

What You'll Do
  • lead comprehensive PR activities for the Polish market, shaping Westwing’s media presence and brand perception
  • develop and implement high‑quality communication content - including press releases, media albums, newsletters, and advertising assets - ensuring a consistent and premium Westwing brand identity
  • manage strategic media partnerships and coordinate high‑impact brand collaborations
  • organise memorable PR events and press meetings
  • supervise and coordinate work with external agencies and partners to ensure top‑quality execution of PR initiatives
  • support CEE PR efforts by coordinating with journalists across Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia, and by monitoring media performance
YOU COME WITH
  • 3+ years of experience managing PR activities
  • strong results orientation, independence in action, decisiveness, and accountability
  • ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners
  • proactivity, dynamism, and creativity in communication
  • excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, and stress resilience
  • native‑level command of Polish and very good command of English
