About WW Technic

WW Technic is an engineering services company providing technical expertise in shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, oil & gas, and the power & heat sectors.

We work where technology, reliability and environmental responsibility meet – implementing advanced automation, power and cooling solutions that make vessels and energy systems more efficient and sustainable.

About The Role

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, testing and servicing advanced electrical and automation systems used in maritime and energy applications.

You’ll work on systems such as shaft generators, chiller systems, hydrogen generation systems and hybrid propulsion solutions – technologies transforming the efficiency and sustainability of global industries.

Your work will take you to shipyards and facilities across the world — especially in Asia and Northern Europe — where you’ll be the key link between design, installation and operation.

  • Perform functional testing and prepare systems for sea trials
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with the technical support team when complex analysis is required
  • Report progress and prepare detailed final reports
Service
  • Troubleshooting – identifying the root cause of failures and resolving them individually
  • Periodic maintenance – executing predefined work scopes, testing and handing systems back to operation
What we expect
  • Degree in electrical, automation, or maritime engineering
  • Practical experience in commissioning, service, or maintenance of industrial electrical systems
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) – essential
    • Generators, switchboards, transformers
    • Shaft generator systems and chiller systems
    • Control systems (PLC – user level)
  • Hands‑on mindset and readiness to travel globally (assignments lasting from a few days up to 2 weeks)
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English (technical and conversational)
  • Independence, professionalism and composure in dynamic international environments

Experience with hybrid propulsion or energy storage systems will be a strong advantage.

What We Offer
