Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Cloudflare Developer Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise‑grade edge solutions. You will work on Cloudflare Workers, AI tooling, and edge-native architectures across a pharmaceutical sector client with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

The role requires hands-on Cloudflare expertise, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and the ability to collaborate with security and platform teams in a global delivery model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Cloudflare Developer Platform.
• Proven expertise with Cloudflare Workers.
• Strong understanding of edge computing concepts and serverless architectures.
• Experience building APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain solutions using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare Developer Platform.
• Develop and deploy edge-native applications with high performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement and optimise Cloudflare AI tools (e.g., Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize, related services).
• Integrate Cloudflare services with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and harden production workloads.
• Collaborate closely with client engineering, security, and platform teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers as the team scales.

We are looking for an experienced Cloudflare Developer Platform Engineer to support a high‑profile global client engagement in the pharmaceutical sector. This role focuses on building, optimising, and scaling solutions on the Cloudflare Developer Platform, with particular emphasis on Workers, AI capabilities, and edge‑native architectures. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with deep Cloudflare expertise who want to work on large‑scale, enterprise‑grade platforms with real‑world impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years of strong hands‑on experience with the Cloudflare Developer Platform
• Proven expertise with Cloudflare Workers
• Solid understanding of edge computing concepts and serverless architectures

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Familiarity with security, performance optimisation, and observability at the edge
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments is a strong plus
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Cloudflare AI tools (Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize, etc.)
• Previous employment or deep project experience at Cloudflare
• Experience with Zero Trust, Access, WAF, and other Cloudflare security products
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code
• Experience supporting global, high‑availability platforms
